Why I recommend Barbera d'Alba DOC 2017 Pozzo dell’Annunziata Magnum
We don't look at the price (even if it is important) we evaluate the wine. Incredible work in the vineyard, a juice of jam to drink at least not before 10 years, to obtain the maximum of its expression, complexity and exceptional structure. About 1500 MGM produced each year from old vines of the Il Pozzo dell'Annunziata package. Barbera aged in French oak. The Voerzio style is undoubtedly modern and its wines seem to have a high level of fruit extraction. What impressed the most ... the fruit don't fade as much and there was still a bright acidity to support the oak background. However, no one imagined that it was a Barbera.
Sommelier:
Roberto Voerzio Riserva vineyard Pozzo dell'Annunziata Barbera d'Alba is an extraordinary wine with intensity, complexity, balance that intrigues and persists for a long time on the palate. The nose gives you red cherry, blackberry, blueberry, black plum, coffee, licorice, black pepper, earth, forest, truffle and cloves, which also show up on the palate.
Recommended pairings:
The Barbera d'Alba DOC 2017 Pozzo dell’Annunziata Magnum Roberto Voerzio wine goes perfectly with a roasted goose with crunchy skin that is served with a hash of potatoes, turnips and beets.
Uncork Barbera d'Alba DOC 2017 Pozzo dell’Annunziata Magnum Roberto Voerzio and let it air before serving at a temperature of 18 - 20 ° C. in a large Ballon glass.
