Why I suggest Mirto di Sardegna
Mirto Communis, a shrub spontaneously growing in areas with temperate climate Sardinia. The bark is of a reddish colour and the flowers white and very fragrant, bloom in summer to leave the place, in the autumn, the typical berries round, of a bluish color. The berries violet-purple mature and are harvested manually in the months of November and December. Wash in cold water, are placed in the infusion and after the separation of the liquid part of the fruits are leggermene pressed which yields the sardinian liquor Mirto with a ruby red colour and the flavour is delicate and velvety, free of colourings and preservatives from the digestive properties. Recommended to be enjoyed chilled after a meal or a pleasant evening in the company.
