Why the Sommelier Recommends Oddero Nebbiolo Langhe DOC Magnum 2023
The 2023 Nebbiolo Langhe DOC by Oddero represents the truest soul of the winery and the liquid story of its production philosophy. In this great Piedmontese red wine, ancient knowledge blends with a love for the land, which is cultivated in absolute compliance with organic certification. The vines root at about 200 meters above sea level, on hills facing East. Here, the fresh morning breeze caresses the grape bunches and preserves their aromatic elegance.
The wine rests in the quiet of the cellar for a period ranging from 12 to 18 months. Large oak casks guide this slow evolution. The oak acts as a discreet guardian that does not overpower the fruit, but rather enhances its refinement, shaping its tannins. This 1.5-liter Magnum format is perfect for preserving the freshness of Nebbiolo over time and for sharing during special occasions.
Characteristics of Oddero Nebbiolo Wine
