Cascina Sòt

Founded in 1975, Cascina Sòt is a farm in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. Purchased by Maria and Giuseppe after they worked for years in the property as sharecroppers. It is with the advent of his son Leonardo and his wife Silvana that the wine business has become the only company commitment.

The company currently grows its own vineyards, some of which are among the most prestigious crus of Barolo. Dedicating the best care to the vine plants, precious and straightforward grapes are harvested, which during the vinification phase are processed enhancing their intrinsic characteristics to the utmost. Finally, with aging, the Cascina Sòt wines are further embellished, acquiring valuable tertiary scents.

Thus, from a small cellar, labels are created chiselled down to the smallest detail, produced with the utmost attention paid to every single work step, and above all expressive as few of the varietal and the territory of origin.
