In 1950 Luca Colletti began to cultivate the vine for the production of wine. We are at the foot of the Rocca di Entella, territories of the municipality of Contessa Entellina, Palermo. It was produced today as native vines of Catarratto and Inzolia referring to the tradition of those places where the Elymians, many centuries before produced wine.
Half a century after 1990, the sons Nino and Maria Colletti renewed the vineyards, replanted the autochthonous and partly international grapes. On the estate it runs through rows of Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot. History repeats itself and at each step, the new generations mark the pace. The 2009 Luca Colletti, son of Nino, takes on the task of preserving and implementing what has been done. The bottled wines are enriched by the identity that belongs to them, awarded by the denomination are presented to the wine world with labels: Don Luca, L'entellana, Lieo, La contessa, Zonjë.
