Why I suggest Primitivo
Will there ever be a refined five-star Primitivo? Probably not. But this has a great balance, nose and complexity. You can't really go wrong with a Primitivo
The Sommelier: A seemingly delicate Primitivo. Decanted for over 2 hours, it offers subtle aromas of plum and red cherry. Ripe sweet plum to the taste with hints of raspberry. Its softness is combined with its subtle flavors and softness. For a young man the tannins are also .. err .. thin !! Let it breathe a little longer and start to rise a little! The flavor intensifies and offers more than you expected in the first place. Primitive doesn't tend to be shy after all!
Suggested pairings: Elegant with rocket cavatelli with tomato sauce; Lamb ribs; risotto with asparagus. Braised beef, polenta and red radicchio from Treviso grilled.
Uncork, decant for a long time before serving at 18 ° C. in a large Ballon glass.
Wine cellar: Botromagno, expression of that Puglia DOC which fully embodies the great capacity of the Apulian terroir in making rosé wines of absolute value. You are spoiled for choice with Botromagno wineries, a production company that recognizes high quality. ...
