The Alpine Freshness and Vibrant Pleasantness of the Everyday Blend
The 448 s.l.m. Rosso by Cantina Girlan takes its name from the geographical altitude of the historic estate where the cooperative roots, situated at 448 meters above sea level. The winemaker recommends this bottle for its extraordinary drinkability and its ability to group the historic grape varieties of the area into an everyday, immediate, and beautifully balanced sip. Compared to excessively heavy versions, this vintage makes freshness and fruity fragrance its stylistic banner, offering a dynamic parcel expression, ideal for enthusiasts looking for a contemporary and agile alpine red wine.
The Enhancement of Historic Varieties and Cellar Precision
The architecture of this blend celebrates the most representative red grape varieties of the Trentino Alto Adige region, interpreted with the unquestionable quality consistency of the Girlan winery. The vine rows root in complex hillside soils rich in minerals, formed from glacial era sediments in Oltradige. The cellar protocol demands a strictly manual harvest in small containers for transporting the grapes intact. The grapes are destemmed and fermented under controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by complete malolactic fermentation. Controlled aging takes place in concrete vats to preserve the clean extractive profile of the fruit.
