Voerzio Martini La Morra is one of the municipalities that form the Olympus of Piedmontese red wines, in particular Barolo. Where it is impossible to make the vision uniform due to the difference between crus, different altitudes, land conformation, exposures and above all the objectives of the Producers. Alongside the companies with noble names there are many productive realities capable of working well and transmitting their own interpretation of the wine, of any grape produced, with Nebbiolo as the progenitor.

The experience and culture of wine is handed down even when there are no heirs ready to collect the direct guidance of the company. This is where Cases History such as Voerzio Martini are born, with the 'new advancing ". Thanks to the decades-long experience of Gianni Voerzio the previous owner and the clear ideas of two young entrepreneurs, Mirko and Federica Martini, who know how to move and in 2015 they bought the Gianni Voerzio Winery. Today they expect to have twelve hectares of their own vineyards and another recent purchase on the Monvigliero hill, half a hectare of the prestigious Cerequio cru, between Barolo and La Morra at a stellar price. The available vines begin to offer important qualities, I can't wait to try the three crus.

Both technicians and oenologists aim at the technique of the fermentation method in reduction. A technique that also sees the adoption of other local Voerzio and that is denoted in tasting. Nebbiolo and Barbera where cleanliness and depth are fully appreciated.

A long process of refinement of red wines in barrique, tonneau or large cask, differently happens for white wines which carry out only a short passage in wood. Timorasso is a wine in which Voerzio Martini has taken a lot of interest, a wine to be faced with respect and judgment, a few bottles with evident longevity, followed by the reds, the classics, such as the shamelessly fresh Dolcetto, and Freisa.

The agritech and the Barolo vineyards see Voerzio Martini and TIM combine their skills and all their efforts by collaborating on a Smart Agriculture project. An experimentation of data exchange in the cloud in order to promote precision wine production and focuses on a correct application of the Farm to Fork. Pillar of the European Green Deal, the sustainable food production system in Europe along the entire production chain from farm to fork, to strengthen safety.
