Why I suggest Nero di Sei Etna DOC
Produced with Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio grapes from old vines. It ferments in cone-shaped vats and ages in large used barrels for 2 years. Very expressive red, one of the finest of Etna producers. Very large sour shoulder and small red fruit .... Very close relative of the wines of the important part of France.
The Sommelier: Very interesting style with a fresh mineral nose and notes of sulfur. There are plums and floral tones, but the mineral and the rocks take center stage. An elegant and smooth palate with earthy edges and a rich dark cherry. Excellent wine for wine lovers. Sophisticated, complex and intriguing.
Recommended pairings: Wine for vegetable first courses; caponata; Roasted artichokes; pecorino cheese.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 17 - 18 ° C, in a Ballon glass.
Wine cellar: ... Extreme and unique wines, recognizable thousands of km from their origin, represented as the Cru Contrada Santo Spirito, Di Sei and Mofete ... go to the sheet
