Blend wine of Sangiovese and complementary Tuscan grapes. Historic vine in production in the Chianti Rufina area in the Castello Nipozzano estates where the diversity of Tuscany is adopted, through the help of winemaking workers and modernity. Wine that ages for a long period in large barrels, elegant and brilliant, produced in the Frescobaldi winery from a century of experience. Long-lived wine with an aristocratic and vibrant character given by an important imprint from the first tasting, superior class, ductile, fresh with a dry flavour. The perfume dominates and guarantees expectations, a wine suitable for making lunch or dinner pleasant and convivial.
Characteristics of the Chianti Rufina Riserva of Frescobaldi
The Chianti Rufina Nipozzano Riserva wine of great complexity with a good alcohol content, 13.50% Vol. Grapes from old Sangiovese vines give way to a wine with an intense ruby red color and garnet hints. Scent of ripe undergrowth fruit; On the palate a sweet, ripe, silky liquid, hints of cocoa berry powder and freshly ground coffee. Excellent balance of tannins, rich, warm in the mouth, good alcohol content and long lasting in the finish.

Nipozzano Castle is the ancient stronghold defending Florence, one of the most famous and historic properties of the Frescobaldi family. The historical meaning of the name Nipozzano "without a well" testifies to the scarcity of water in the area.
