Why the winemaker recommends Fratelli Giacosa Basarin Vigna Gianmatè Barbaresco DOCG 2019
Two young people, Maurizio & Paolo Giacosa, now in their fourth generation, now lead the company. A new vineyard planted in the historic area of Barbaresco, the Basarin district, the Gianmaté Vineyard, contributes to broadening the range of products. Yet another challenge but certainly a test of courage for those like them who invest in quality wine. With the Barbaresco Basarin Vigna Gianmaté, the award was merited after long years of waiting, and today it has become the flagship wine of the Giacosa Company. All the vintages on sale are highly appreciated by the specialized press. Excellent quality/price ratio, unbeatable to date.
