Why the oenologist recommends Michele Chiarlo Barbaresco DOCG Reyna 2014
Great traditional barbaresco. Nebbiolo of great finesse, the production of this wine is quite limited considering that only in the municipalities of Neive, Treiso and Barbaresco it is possible to plant Nebbiolo vineyards. Vinified separately, parcel by parcel, checking quality and evolution with frequent tastings, before assembly.
Characteristics of Nebbiolo wine:
Blood ruby color, with orange nails. The nose gives its best. Wild strawberries and other red fruit in alcohol, nutmeg, cloves, black pepper, bay leaf, milk chocolate and hints of orange. In the mouth it does not completely keep pace with the nose, the retro-olfactory sensations are less intense and complex. However, on the palate it has a fairly smooth but perceptible and astringent tannin, with a still bold freshness. Persistent in the mouth.
Recommended pairings with Nebbiolo wine:
with Nebbiolo Reyna Barbaresco DOCG 2014 whit cacciagione, red meats; first courses of vegetables with lamb; pork foot in cabbage stew; Meat chops preferably with spicy; Donkey stew, good with the Neapolitan casatiello.
Uncork and decant Nebbiolo Reyna Barbaresco DOCG 2014 Michele Chiarlo one hour before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
Chiarlo Cellar:
