Why the oenologist recommends Michele Chiarlo Barolo Tortoniano Docg
Those good wines that keep Italy's name high in the wine sector. A delicate wine that after an appropriate oxygenation is expressed in all its complexity with lots of wood and a pinch of licorice in the pleasant and prolonged persistence ... although it is a Barolo expert this is certainly for me, the best I've tried till now.
Characteristics of Barolo wine:
Validissimo Barolo, garnet turned out of sight. Vanilla bouquet resulting from the aging in barriques with pleasant aromas of ripe fruit followed by gentle hints of spices, hints of blackberry, licorice and aromatic herbs. Intense on the palate with good body and silky tannins, excellent persistence.
Recommended pairings with Barolo wine:
Barolo Tortoniano whit Mafalde ricce on shelled broad beans puree; red meats; vegetable first courses with lamb meat; Savoy cabbage stew of pork. Dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Meat chops better if with spicy; good with Florentine-style filet and grilled red Treviso radicchio.
Uncork and decant Barolo Tortoniano an hour before serving at a temperature of 18-20 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
Michele Chiarlo Winery:
Michele Chiarlo is one of the historical founders of the Consorzio Grandi Vini, founders of the Accademia del Barolo and chosen to be part of the Institute of Italian Wine of great quality
