Why I suggest Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG 2016
Barolo definitely above average, which expresses a strong character and an unmistakable personality. I was lucky enough to taste it several times, I was very fascinated by the passion and experience with which this wine is produced. If you have been looking for something really special for some time, you can finally stop, you have found your Grail.
Sommelier:
The nose is narrow, closed with particular hints of varnish and unripe pears. The color is translucent, clear and purple. The taste is an aggressive young explosive nebbiolo, bites on the tongue, dry tannins, complex and spicy sweetness. Tasting a bit like cherries and blackberries harvested too early. Great evolution between at least 3 - 6 years. I can't wait to taste it in a year.
Suggested pairings:
Excellent Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG 2016 Tenuta Cucco on tagliolini with truffle; hare and polenta; veal fillet with courgette pancakes and polenta; Lamb ribs; cheeses; dried fruit of all kinds.
Uncork Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG 2016 Tenuta Cucco and decant a few hours before serving at a temperature of 16-18 ° C in a large Ballon glass.
Wine Cellar:
Only autochthonous vines for the Rossi family, such as the grapes of the Cerrati cru and Vigna Cucco. The well-harmonized cellar is fully reflected in the standardized project already for La Raia, adapting and certified Demeter...Go to the card
