Tenuta Cucco

On the Serralunga d’Alba hills of Piedmont, Tenuta Cucco dominates the entire area of ​​the Langhe of Alba. Favored by a unique microclimate, together with the philosophy of biodynamic production, the old wine tradition for the production of red and white wines continues.
For an extension of 18Ha there are vineyards with an average life of 30 - 50 years, of which the Rossi Cairo family in 2015 takes ownership and enhances them with a biodynamic intervention project.
Today among the rows of vines grassed with green manure, fertilized with manure and treated with copper and sulfur. The indispensable and substitute elements for the nutrition and the antiparasitic defense of the grapes are shown. Tenunta Cucco transmutes and transforms itself into a true oasis of biodiversity as happens in the La Raia company in Novi Ligure.
Only autochthonous vines for the Rossi family, such as the grapes of the Cerrati cru and Vigna Cucco. The well-harmonized cellar is fully reflected in the standardized project already for La Raia, adapting and certified Demeter.
