Why the winemaker recommends Michele Chiarlo Barolo DOCG Tortoniano 2020
Those good Barolo wines that keep the name of Italy high in the wine field. A delicate autochthonous red wine of Piedmont, after an appropriate oxygenation it expresses itself in all its complexity with lots of wood and a pinch of licorice in the pleasant and prolonged persistence... although I am a Barolo expert this is definitely for me, the best I've tried so far.
Characteristics of Nebbiolo wine:
Very valid Barolo, garnet turned out of sight. Vanilla bouquet resulting from the aging in barriques with pleasant aromas of ripe fruit followed by gentle hints of spices, hints of blackberry, licorice and aromatic herbs. Intense on the palate with good body and silky tannins, excellent persistence.
Recommended pairings with Nebbiolo wine:
Tortoniano Barolo DOCG Michele Chiarlo with mafalde ricce on shelled broad beans puree; red meats; vegetable first courses with lamb meat; Savoy cabbage stew of pork. Dishes of the Piedmontese tradition. Meat chops better if with spicy; good with Florentine-style filet and grilled red Treviso radicchio.
Uncork and decant Tortoniano Barolo DOCG 2020 Michele Chiarlo an hour before serving at a temperature of 18-20 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
