Why the winemaker recommends Particella 181
Because it embodies the strength and potential of Sorelle Bronca's first family vineyard, located in Rua di Feletto. It is a unique expression of the gentle hills of Conegliano, boldly reinventing the conventions of Prosecco Superiore DOCG. The vines—approximately 35 years old and trained using the Sylvoz system—root themselves in iron-rich marl soil (known locally as "Ferretti"), lending the wine unmistakable savoriness and persistence. After being hand-harvested into crates, the 100% Glera grapes undergo sequential pressing and a two-week settling period (*débourbage*). Secondary fermentation takes place directly from the must using the Martinotti Method, followed by an extended 6-to-8-month period on the lees, which imparts complexity and structure.
Characteristics of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Brut
It presents a straw-yellow hue with greenish highlights, featuring an elegant perlage and a creamy mousse. The nose reveals ripe fruit aromas, enriched by mineral and floral notes. On the palate, the iron-rich soil translates into savory qualities and fantastic aromatic persistence. Discover other Prosecco wines in our selection.
