Why I suggest Refosco dal Peduncolo rosso
A wine with few pretensions, beautiful acidity and minerality but persistence and mediocre balance. Excellent in its kind, it holds very well.
Sommelier: Good vintage, great for the color, an intense ruby red, clear, consistent and complex. Predominant olfactory notes of undergrowth, morello cherry, cherry in alcohol, blueberries and a floral bouquet of dried roses and violets on a cocoa and nutmeg background and a delicate balsamic. Warm, enveloping, velvety tannins and good flavor; good persistence with a slightly bitter finish.
Suggested pairings: Good on succulent meat dishes and ground first courses with mushrooms.
Uncork, decant before serving at 16 ° C. in Renano glasses.
