Matelica is one of the best terroirs for white wines in Italy and Borgo Paglianetto expresses the authentic Verdicchio. Perhaps the first Verdicchio di Matelica that showed me this DOC and its territory with an eye of greater interest. 8 months of aging in stainless steel. Excellent structure albeit young. Elegant and persistent with a characteristic phenolic charge and an easy and smooth drink.
The Sommelier: An excellent Verdicchio di Matelica with citrine and slightly tropical notes. Sustained minerality and excellent drinkability. It reaches that extra bit of complexity and body for excellence.
