Why the winemaker recommends Botromagno 5 Uve Rosse Murgia IGP 2021
You open it and you immediately recognize the presence of a Bordeaux blend (Merlot and Cab) accompanied by peppery and fruity notes of Primitivo and the tannins of Nero di troia and Aglianico. A rather interesting wine that combines the indigenous and the international.
Characteristics of the 5 Red Grapes of Botromagno wine
Blend of native (Uva di Troia, Primitivo, Aglianico) and Bordeaux (Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot); full, structured, balanced. Still powerful fruity but not pandering, elegant evolving notes, complex, a beautiful Apulian wine that everyone will like. Despite Aglianico and Cabernet Sauvignon the tannin is well integrated, the imprint of Primitivo and Merlot barely prevails.
Recommended pairings with 5 Uve Rosse Murgia PGI wine
5 Red Grapes Murgia IGP 2021 Botromagno excellent with grilled meat; also on cheeses and croutons; with spiced black olives.
Uncork 5 Red Grapes Murgia IGP 2021 Botromagno and decant before serving at a temperature of 18°C. in a Ballon glass.
