Once again Scavino brings us back to a warmer nose, clearly driven by dark fruit and quite typical of the years that seem to model themselves really well. Chopped black pepper, full of fruit and some nice fleshy notes, with a fairly dry medium finish. As with many others in , this will benefit from further aging, but it is now accessible.

Characteristics of the Barolo wine:

A large Barolo also reflects the pale garnet color in the glass. Medium aromatic notes including black fruit, mint, spices, pomegranate, red fruit, rosemary, mushrooms, truffles, earthy and tomato leaf. Even hints of rubber. Dry, high acidity, high tannin, medium strength, medium body, medium intensity and medium persistence.
