Why the oenologist recommends Siddùra Vermentino Superiore di Gallura DOCG Beru 2016
Vermentino is Sardinia most famous white wine. Its origin, its provenance is almost certainly Iberian. Widespread in the north of the island, where the vine has become characteristic of those areas, then in the rest of the island. The light yellow color with light greenish reflections. Floral aromas, dry, soft and full taste, with 14% alcohol content, and an evolutionary capacity of up to 8 years.
Characteristics of the Beru Siddùra wine
Only 100% Vermentino Superiore di Gallura, bright in the glass, straw yellow in colour. Fine and complex bouquet with recognizable fruity notes of strawberry tree and passion fruit. On the palate it is perfect, balance between acidity and the enoic power of warmth given by the alcohol 14.00% Vol. In the long finish, hints of white flowers and acacia stand out.
