Cabernet Friuli red wine aged for months in wood and in the bottle. A cabernet outside the Friulian schemes! Very particular.
Characteristics of the Cabernet wine:
Cabernet Colli Orientali DOP Vigna Lenuzza fine relatively light, blended with 30% Cabernet Franc and 70% Cabernet Sauvignon. Full of fruit (strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, plum) a little spiced with vanilla and slightly smoky from high acid wood ageing.
Recommended pairings with Cabernet wine:
Lenuzza Cabernet Friuli 2023 goes well with pasta and meat; with cheeses and seasoned raw ham.
