Why I suggest Greif Lagrein Alto Adige DOC 2023
From grapes: Lagrein, Originally through of as white grapes, fermented for the first time in red in 1526. It is believed to have originated from Val Lagarina in Trentino, well connected to other Vinifera varieties. Beautiful aromatic intensity, youthful, attractive and pleasant to drink wine.
Sommelier:
Lagrein, a purely ruby and purist touch, of medium structure, with a really interesting balance between fruity and spicy. Slightly ethereal and old rose stalls, cherries pears in spirit a hint of chocolate The mouth is smooth soft vanilla and delicately from Madagascar with a bit of muskat. Easy tannins good acidity. Excellent long release and excellent aftertaste An intense structured wine.
Recommended pairings:
Excellent Greif Lagrein Alto Adige DOC 2023 Kornell with Argentine meat dishes; with buttery South Tyrolean dishes. Swordfish fillet.
