Why I suggest Zeder Alto Adige IGT 2022
Modern and intelligent wines by Mitterberg by Florian Brigl. An exceptional mix of Trentino; splendid cuvée of Lagrein, Merlot, Cabernet. The fruitiness of black berries is intense. In the mouth a really nice wine. The fullness and complexity of the Merlot is balanced by the structure of the Cabernet .. A cut that I always like and not tired of tasting. Because it doesn't weight like a full 5-year Merlot, but it already looks like a Mr. wine
Sommelier:
A very good vintage for the Zeder, the Cabernet makes itself felt and with the Merlot it still receives a little roundness, even the Lagrein has been added well raising the fruity and the body of the wine a little. Elegant and tannin structure , intense, with a persistent aftertaste.
Recommended pairings:
Excellent Zeder Alto Adige IGT Kornell with pork fillet, grilled prawns, stuffed cuttlefish and baked squid; Artichokes flan; Seared ai ferri tuna; Medium seasoning cheeses.
Uncork Zeder Alto Adige IGT Kornell and decant before serving at a temperature of 16-18 ° C, in a large Ballon glass.
Cellar:
Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon blanc and Gewürztraminer with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Lagrein red wines produced and fermented in steel tanks followed by a long refinement in large barrels and oak barrels...go to the card
