Characteristics of the La Bernardina di Accornero wine
The nose (both the first and the next) is grassy-blueberry, very fresh... After about an hour, the nose suddenly appeared bright, completely inappropriate. The sip did not affect the flavor pairing. Body and taste are quite light, fresh, with notes of cranberry, slightly peppery with excellent acidity and dense tannins.
Recommended pairings for this Freisa del Monferrato DOC 2023 red wine Piemonte
It is good to combine it with chops; Florentine style; skewers; hard cheeses; polenta and mushrooms sautéed with freisa.
Uncork the Freisa and decant before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a Tulipano glass.
