Why the winemaker recommends Accornero Viarì Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG 2021
Ruchè 2021: Fresh, floral and very fruity. Interesting wine without barrel aging. Ruché "out of the zone" of good quality, full and juicy. Drink hot, sour cherry and violet jam, with good spiciness that reaches up to the cocoa bean. Sufficiently balanced to encourage you to drink beyond the usual single glass of recent Ruché. Difficult drinking alone!
Characteristics of the Viarì Ruchè wine from Accornero
Viarì from a little-known Piedmontese grape variety: the Ruché. Nose of relatively sunny red fruits, with intense floral notes, such as violet and geranium. On the palate it is frank, delicious, with a touch of power but overall it is fresh and persuasive.
Recommended pairings for this Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato DOCG 2021 red wine Piemonte
Red Ruchè paired with truffle tagliatelle; grilled rib eye; risotto with porcini mushrooms.
Uncork the Ruchè di Castagnole Monferrato and decant before serving at a temperature of 16 - 18°C in a Tulipano glass.
