Distilleries Lussurgiu

Santu Lussurgiu, in Oristano province is the ancient capital of the distillation of Sardinia. Charles Pische of the Distilleries Lussurgiu is the heir of the tradition in the art of distillation on the Sardinian territory. The areal production is mentioned since ancient times, dating back to 1776, confirms to around 1800 with the construction of the first distillery the local Lussurgiu, commissioned and built by the Agronomist professor Nicolò Meloni, for the production of the distillate Cognac Sardinia or (Grappa in Italian), recognized already by then in all of Italy. The preservation of the art of liquor making mastery and the continuity of the products have become the priority of Carlo Pische. Preserve the tradition, handed down for generations by the community of the country and in the small dark cellars distilled sparingly the fragrant essence of the wine. Renew yourself, to give momentum to wider visibility and market positioning of the local wines and spirits of Sardinian wine. Continuity of production, being the only distillery Sardinian who cultivates the ancient tradition and the noble in the distillation of wine. The local brandy, and brandy are the heirs of this tradition, such as the production of typical liqueurs, as well as new ideas, chocolates, water, vine, and myrtle that are capable of interpreting the modern times and are the best prize for this vision.
