Distilleries Lussurgiu
Santu Lussurgiu, in Oristano province is the ancient capital of the distillation of Sardinia. Charles Pische of the Distilleries Lussurgiu is the heir of the tradition in the art of distillation on the Sardinian territory. The areal production is mentioned since ancient times, dating back to 1776, confirms to around 1800 with the construction of the first distillery the local Lussurgiu, commissioned and built by the Agronomist professor Nicolò Meloni, for the production of the distillate Cognac Sardinia or (Grappa in Italian), recognized already by then in all of Italy.
