The Domaine Boinaud, owners of De Luze, it represents the tradition and expertise in the distillation of Cognac to 24 generations, with an area of 410 hectares and is wholly owned by Big Champagne. Skills, that guarantee the high quality and personality of the Cognac De Luze. With the appellation Cognac, you define the name of the production and provenance of the wines destined for the production of Cognac. Divided into 6 Crus, including the Grande and the Petite Champagne are considered the wines with a high level of quality De Luze. Complying to strict rules, the designation requires the technique of double distillation, yielding before the "scramble", a distillate approximate, that is distilled again to get the alcohol content of 70% vol. of alcohol of the brandy. The preservation and storage takes place in the barrels of the cellars Domaine Boinaud, currently proprietary, purpose-built and offer the microclimate control, the determining factor as to give character, power, and personality to the Cognac. The De Luze, leaves aged for 2 years its Cognac in order to benefit from defining special quality, a longer aging whereas, it is intended for the quality Very Special Old Pale, or, for an Extra Old XO, from 4 – 6 years. The richness of the stock Domaine Boinaud, built by generations, ensures the high quality of Cognac De Luze every year.
