Osvaldo Viberti
Osvaldo Viberti's cellar:
Where the wines of the Langhe reach their maximum expression
Osvaldo Viberti is the winemaker who took over the family farm in 1993, giving continuity to the project started by his grandparents and parents. Raised in the agricultural environment and passionate since he was a child, he found his vocation in viticulture. Today Osvaldo is constantly dedicated to managing the vineyards together with his wife Carla and their children Anna and Paolo, restoring the strong passion that has accompanied every generation of his family.
The historic cellar, located in the Borgata Serra dei Turchi, is the most important place where the wines of the Langhe mature and carry out their necessary period of refinement. With different containers of different sizes, such as barrels, tonneaux and barriques, each wine is aged in the way that best suits its characteristics. The new cellar, on the other hand, built in 2012 underground on three sides, is the place where the vinification and transformation of the grapes into wine takes place, thanks also to a controlled temperature system.
Osvaldo is happy and enthusiastic about his journey as a winemaker, feeling privileged for his passionate and tiring work. Living in this wonderful area of the Langhe represents for him an immense gift that he hopes to be able to pass on to his children, so that they too can enjoy the good fortune of living extraordinary experiences in contact with nature and following the cycle of the vine in the various seasons.
