Podere Forte

Podere Forte in Val D'Orcia by Pasquale Forte, an electronic engineering mind who is also a farmer, oenologist and passionate vigneron. The entrepreneur who gave life to Sistema Forte, a contemporary, self-sufficient and sustainable agronomic vision following the principles of biodynamic agriculture.

Pasquale F. states that with his work the thousand-year-old winemaking tradition is recovered while in the cellar with cutting-edge techniques and precision agriculture he has advanced two centuries and transformed the territory capable of creating excellent products for human well-being.

The Petrucci locality and its origins give life to the wine, the prince of the former farm is decorated with the Petrucci Anfiteatro Orcia DOC label. This is an immense wine obtained only from the best Sangiovese plot of the Petrucci farm called Anfiteatro. A great promising and aristocratic wine comparable to the legendary Brunello by Biondi Santi. The bitter note of Sangiovese is very accentuated, indeed one could say that it is the main quality of this wine. A great balance in which the enveloping sip elegantly warms the palate outlined by freshness and elegant fine tannicity.

Petrucci Melo Orcia DOC label, a wine with a large aromatic volume, 100% Sangiovese, very typical, the warm vintage is broad and varied. In the mouth it is particularly direct, without scruples. Petruccino Orcia label, the DNA of Podere Forte can also be seen here, a younger wine but with a great personality. Sangiovese Petruccino harmonises well with linguine with black truffle.

A really good basic Tuscan Sangiovese, all clean, nothing fake, no glamour, the winemaker Pasquale Forte offers Rocca d'Orcia Villaggio with a decisive freshness and pleasant whimsy of the wine. From the 11 hectares of Demeter certified organic and biodynamic agriculture, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot create Guardiavigna Orniello, a great wine from Podere Forte. A Bordeaux blend that easily competes with French wines.

With Podere Forte it is always a beautiful discovery full of pleasure, with Ada Spumante Metodo Classico 60 Months, an excellent alternative to prosecco! Pasquale Forte wines are all excellent, they are worthy of a Producer who has put the well-being of the entire Planet Earth and its occupants at the center of each of his projects.
