80 years of true history have passed since the foundation of the Vozzi winery in Chiaromonte, in the province of Potenza.

Today the business is directed by Antonio Vozzi (the Senator). It brings innovation and research. He makes the Vozzi company efficient from a work point of view and competitive. The climate, plays the decisive role, is favorable to the pedological adaptation of the plants on these soils suited to the cultivation of vines in general. The Sangiovese and Merlot vineyards are particularly well seen and guarded by Dr. Alfredo Tocchini, agronomist and oenologist.

From here the production of the “Kouros” wine starts; the modern taste that meets the consensus of today's consumers.

With the same enthusiasm and determination that he continues to influence, he has reached the third generation with his daughter Ermelinda. Passion for the land from a family of peasant origin.

Archaeological history:

The most famous find, symbol of the Municipality, is represented by the Kouros, a bronze statue depicting an image of a male figure in the flower of youth that embodies the ideal of perfection of the Greek aristocracy, of moral and intellectual excellence combined with prestige physics.

This wine wants to be inspired by the symbol that best represents our origins, our ideals; our company which is exposed to south-south-east, with its clayey, sunny and ventilated soils of sandstone origin, arid and rich in minerals, is well suited to the cultivation of the vine. Here Kouros finds its ideal territory: a full and balanced wine is born.
