Why the winemaker recommends Sella & Mosca Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG Monteoro 2023
A true and elegant Vermentino, unpretentious, makes it pleasant to drink and amazes the fruity aroma as well as peach and melon (plus melon) also peeled dates.
Characteristics of the Monteoro di Sella & Mosca wine
A white wine with a beautiful straw yellow color. Fruity and floral, herbaceous, spicy and mineral. A hint of banana which is certainly also a symptom of malolactic fermentation, and sweet spiciness. Long persistence which demonstrates structure, flavor which prevails over acidity but intensity when tasted. It can be considered one of the best Vermentinos.
Vermentino di Gallura is subjected to soft pressing and subsequently left to macerate in the cold, followed by fermentation in stainless steel.
Recommended pairings for this white Wine Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG
It goes well with a first course of caserecce pasta with tuna sauce, cherry tomatoes, capers and Taggiasca olives and a tuna tartare with avocado and mango
