Why I suggest Negroamaro Amaltea
Wine that produces joy and good humor. Italy has so much to offer as a wine country: diversity, elegance, history, age-old wine-making traditions, excellent food and the perfect setting to enjoy the sunset with a glass of garnet-colored joy.
The Sommelier: This Negroamaro embodies much of that Italian spirit, balancing power with elegance, depth with a passion for life, breathing blackberries, plums, cherries and rose petals on a background of oak spices and wet leaves. Still young, with a breath of alcohol, but intense, layered and tasty, with an excellent length.
Recommended pairings: Shelled dried broad beans and mafalde; red meats; Vegetable first courses, cabbage stew, pork leg. Meat chops better if with spicy; good with Florentine-style filet and grilled red Treviso radicchio.
Uncork and decant before serving at a temperature of 16-18 ° C, in Ballon goblet.
Wineries: Aristocratic wines, but above all impeccable quality wines. Retracing Le Strade del Vino, Michele De Santis transports us with glasses along a route of about 250 km, stopping in vineyards ...
