Why the winemaker recommends Pinot Bianco
Pinot bianco from the Kaltern producers' cooperative (Caldaro) a few kilometers from the lake and the famous and renowned production area of memorable South Tyrolean whites. Wine from the basic line which I consider discreet but without exaggerating, unlike the Quintessenze line. 4 million bottles produced but in any case all made with criteria.
Sensory Profile
This Pinot Bianco DOC conquers the taste with its balanced but unmistakable flavour, released by the fruity hints of the prized Pergola and Guyot grapes. With a fresh and harmonious aftertaste, it enhances the table also thanks to the refinement and its bottle.
Recommended Pairings and Serving Guidelines
Pinot Bianco with aperitifs and can accompany the entire meal, from first courses with delicate sauces, to fish and white meats.
Serve at a temperature of 10 - 12 °C in a Renano glass.
Cantina Kaltern: The Ultimate Expression of Wine in Caldaro
The history of Cantina Kaltern (also known as Kellerei Kaltern) is deeply intertwined with the winemaking tradition of Alto Adige. This cooperative winery unites hundreds of local winegrowers who, day after day, cultivate small plots of land overlooking the picturesque waters of Lake Caldaro. The combination of artisanal passion and sustainable management, certified by FAIR'N GREEN standards, transforms every harvest into a liquid narrative of the territory.
