The Freshness and Appeal of Langhe DOC Nebbiolo R.L.
The Langhe DOC Nebbiolo R.L. represents the most dynamic and immediate expression of the Ca’ del Baio winery. This red wine originates from a careful selection of grapes from the estate's youngest vineyards, planted between 2007 and 2008. By nurturing the vines toward full productive maturity, a Nebbiolo focusing on vibrant fruit fragrance is achieved. This label revives the historical tradition of blending different parcels to privilege a smooth and fluid palate experience.
Agronomic Notes and Cellar Management
The vineyards are cultivated on soils characterized by calcareous-sandy gray marls in the municipality of Treiso, benefiting from a dual western and northeastern exposure. The manual harvest takes place between late September and the first days of October. The cellar protocol aims to safeguard the original integrity of the fruit, reducing skin-contact extraction times to enhance the floral components. Both vinification and aging take place exclusively in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural fragrance of the varietal.
Sensory Profile of Langhe Piedmont red wine
The pedoclimatic conditions and the youth of the vines impart an organoleptic precision focused on aromatic freshness to this Nebbiolo.
