Why I suggest Cerasuolo Paolucci DOC
Talking about Montepulciano d'Abruzzo and having to talk about Cerasuolo with excellent acidity and an excellent fineness in the fruit, supported by a strong tannin and good alcoholic power.
The Sommelier: a light ruby red color, excellent consistent wine and good alcohol content. Aromas of blackberry, mulberry, undergrowth, cherries. On the palate the heat expands and there is a subtlety in the fruit. The acidity, well balanced, gives persistence, not very aggressive tannins. The finish is sapid, sensual, punctuated by flavors of black cherry.
Recommended pairings: Montepulciano is excellent with grilled lamb and goat; Fillets with acidic reductions; Game patties, braised, prepared with porcini mushrooms or truffles; the ossobuco alla Milanese, Venetian Liver; Schnitzel with blackberry jam; Duck in orange sauce; Fat fish like sword and salmon; Aged cheeses from the classic pecorino of Abruzzo of Pienza al Talamello.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-14 ° C in a Tulipano glass.
Wineries: The Land of Abruzzo knows how to enchant with its natural landscape, rich in history, culture and tourism. Land of vineyards and wines recognized in the world, stories of producers of excellence ... go to the card.
