A persuasive and powerful Sardinian blend of Cannonau and Cabernet Sauvignon, in which the elegance and vigor respectively typical of the 2 blends come together beautifully. Intense, warm, full-bodied and vibrant wine with a vigorous and iridescent aromatic dynamism.

Characteristics of the Sella & Mosca Tanca Farrà wine

After various passages in large barrels and barriques, the wine Tanca Farrà Alghero Rosso DOC rests for a further 3 months in the bottle before being released on the market. The result is a full-bodied but elegant wine, with tannins that have been rightly softened by time, the herbaceous notes are just an echo, the aromas are reminiscent of pepper, red and black fruits, there is a nice note of violets and roses, a dry and intriguing sip, Freshness to sell and a very long finish centered on plums, morello cherries and locust beans.

Recommended pairings with Alghero DOC red wine

In combination with stewed beef with cabbage; oven-baked pork ribs; with culurgiones and roasted Sardinian sausage; seared red radicchio; with aged cheeses and red meats.
