Why the oenologist recommends Sella & Mosca Alghero Torbato DOC Catore 2022
Catore Torbato enjoys the sunset from Villa Mosca overlooking Capo Caccia and we keep each other company. From selected Torbato bunches, the most typical and territorial grape of Alghero, coming from vineyards on more calcareous soils to obtain greater structure and overall finesse. Short 24-hour maceration for greater aromatic extraction, color and intensity. And the result proves Sella & Mosca right, which hit the mark with this new product too and marks a decisive change compared to the recent past.
Characteristics of the Catore Torbato Sella & Mosca wine
At sight it is crystalline, bright straw yellow in color with beautiful golden reflections, consistent. The nose is intense, broad, with notes of white fruit (white peach, white melon), floral (white rose), minerals (flint, gunpowder). Smoky, toasted notes (blond tobacco), fine olfactory quality. Catore Alghero Torbato di Sella & Mosca is fresh, dry, soft, sapid, full-bodied on the palate. The finish is long and persistent.
