Why I suggest White Benevento IGP
Always nice to discover wines of this importance, here there is an ancient aspect that challenges the cycle of history and reappears modern, drinkable, accessible, democratic and gastronomic. Surely appealing, excellent result of a great winning vine on the national territory. The winery was born with a Grottole building project, they are characteristic underground cellars dug into the tuffaceous rock with an upper oculus for air exchange, lighting of the rooms and for the fall of the grapes crushed by the millstone.
The Sommelier: Intense straw yellow tending to golden. Very transparent, flowing. Intense pure and medium-fine bouquet. Hints of exotic fruit, mineral and almond finish, not very soft, fresh alive, slightly savory.
Recommended pairings: Wine for a meal with red and white meats; first courses of fish; Romagna piadina with soft and semi-hard cheeses, bacon and savory croutons; well with the Neapolitan casatiello.
Uncork and serve at a temperature of 12-15 ° C, in caliceRenano / Chardonnay.
Cellar: The Bio conquers spaces and minds of people. In the heart of the Sannio, at the foot of the Matese and Taburno Parks, in the territory of Castelvenere and Guardia Sanframondi, the Simone Giacomo winery is.
