The winemaker recommends Vigna Lenuzza Schioppettino di Prepotto Indigenously 2017
Pleasant Schioppettino the native of Friuli, spicy and fruity. Really nice Friuli red wine, it smells a bit of summer freshness. The taste gets stronger the longer it stays in the mouth, and disappears shortly after swallowing, it dries well in the mouth.
Characteristics of the Schioppettino wine:
Fascinating Schioppettino di Prepotto Indigenously di Vigna Lenuzza, intense purple wine in the glass, territorial and clear. The fruit moves to let notes of wood and stone pass through. Fat sip, body that requires balance with a category kitchen.
100% Schioppettino, aged in oak for 2 years, followed in glass. Complex aromas of ripe fruit such as cherries, blackberries, wild strawberries. Floral and spicy notes of clove, wood. Elegant and balanced soft tannins. Pleasant acidity well integrated alcohol medium body. In the mouth, full, dry fruity. Final of good length and persistence.
Suggested pairings with Schioppettino wine:
Indigenously Schioppettino di Prepotto gives its best with tasty cheeses such as aged pecorino.
