Cantina Imperatori
Cantina Imperatori
The Lazio region has undertaken a moderate success from the wine point of view. Viticulture covers the Lazio region with 25 thousand hectares of plants. The hard work of Lazio producers, including Cantina Imperatori, aims at quality, with the aim of producing high quality wines intended for consumers of excellent wines. In fact, the Imperatori family owns clones of grapes grown already in Roman times, probably escaped the advent of phylloxera which caused huge losses in the wine heritage, and reinterprets them in a modern key.
The vineyards of the estate mainly produce white grapes such as Trebbiano and Malvasia di Candia. International varieties such as viognier are also widespread, given its particular macroclimatic adaptability and to the Lazio soil. Among the red berried grapes, we find the native Cesanese grapes, a dry red wine, belonging to the Cesanese del Piglio DOCG, the Cesanese di Affile, Cesanese di Olevano Romano and Genazzano DOCGs.
Cantina Imperatori is in fact among the famous and award-winning wineries of Lazio. He represents himself with sober and elegant labels, as well as an interpreter of the production area; we remember for example: Green Secret Trebbiano, Casanese, Anfora Trebbiano.
