Conterno Fantino

The winery founded in 1982 by Conterno & Fantino is located in Monforte d'Alba, an area where vineyards stretch for the production of exceptional grapes destined to produce the great Piedmontese red wines such as Barolo and the best Cru Ginestra.

The company philosophy that characterizes the company is aimed at protecting the environment and consequently of the land it cultivates; for this reason the vineyards are cultivated according to good organic farming practices. The heart of the company consists of the areas where aging in barriques takes place. Large and small oak barrels of different capacities are used for the wines produced by the company.

Maximum attention is paid to the vineyard in order to produce great wines. It is here that Piedmontese red wines are born and come to life. From the land and the care that the producer has and turns towards it. The fruit received for the love of the land, straightforward and precious grapes that create equally excellent wines such as those of the Conterno Fantino winery.

Long-lived wines of Barbera, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Dolcetto left to rest for months in barrel aging and aging in glass. Bottles that contain a fruit achieved with expressive and vigorous wine results, at the same time elegant, refined and precious, such as Langhe Chardonnay Bastìa, Langhe Nebbiolo Ginestrino, Baroli Sorì Ginestra and Vigna del Gris, Barolo Mosconi.
