Why I suggest Bricco Bastia Dolcetto d'Alba DOC
Legendary Monpra (one of the first) Langhe Rosso. Mixed with 50% Nebbiolo and 50% Barbera. Disassembled separately and combined only when bottled. Biological management. Extremely complex wine, with 14 years on its shoulders you can now appreciate its balance. Less muscular than expected. Barbera, however, continues not to find it large enough to transform a wine into a complex that would not die of Nebbiolo alone
