Why I suggest Rochettevino Dolcetto d'Alba 2021 Voerzio Martini
The wine is basically flawless, beautifully juicy, slightly black cherry. Just like a Dolcetto wants. But for me the whole thing is kept a little too clinically clean / precise. There are almost no imperfections, no pinch and bite, we like Dolcetto when it's rustic. He always likes to be a little manly; he also likes to look bad. But still, this wine is fun!
Sommelier:
100% Rochettevino Dolcetto d'Alba. Intense ruby red with very intense violet reflections. Vinous, full and clean, rich in hints of red fruits with a prevalence of black cherry and blueberry; great violet in profusion and great elegance. Full, warm and harmonious tannins, silky, with light minerality and excellent flavor, vegetal notes.
Recommended combinations:
Dolcetto d'Alba 2021 of Voerzio Martini, intense fruity to combine with grilled meat, cold cuts or aged cheeses.
Uncork and serve Rochettevino Dolcetto d'Alba 2021 Voerzio Martini at a temperature of 16 ° C. in tulip glass.
Cellar:
The experience and culture of wine is handed down even when there are no heirs ready to collect the direct guidance of the company. This is where Cases History such as Voerzio Martini are born, with the 'new advancing ". Thanks to the decades-long experience of Gianni Voerzio the previous owner and the clear ideas of two young entrepreneurs, Mirko and Federica Martini, who know how to move and in 2015 they bought the Gianni Voerzio Winery. Today they expect to have twelve hectares of their own vineyards and another recent purchase on the Monvigliero hill, half a hectare of the prestigious Cerequio cru, between Barolo and La Morra at a stellar price. The available vines begin to offer important qualities, I can't wait to try the three crus. Cellar Martini Voerzio
