Why the winemaker recommends Roccheviberti Vigna Melera Dolcetto d'Alba DOC 2021
The "Cru" of Bricco Boschis includes part of the Dolcetto d'Alba vineyards (Vigna Melera) with fairly old vines over 50 years old. We really like this excellent production for the freshness that is usually required from Piedmontese Dolcetto from the Langhe. It caught our attention because it is the result of traditional winemaking. The fermentation, which took place in steel tanks, continues until bottling, and slowly develops aromas and freshness. It's not a small thing, don't you think!
Characteristics of the Dolcetto d'Alba Vigna Melera wine from Roccheviberti
The Dolcetto d'Alba Vigna Melera, the purity of the wine colors the glass red. The intensity of the perfume is reconciled with the freshness, in the mouth a pleasant moderately acidic sip and a succession of hints. Wide to the touch, balanced tannins, soft wine, leaves a pleasant finish.
