This wine is a pleasure to drink every day. The vintage is interesting because it is very different from others I have had from this historic family that dates back 500 years. The ownership of the vineyard was purchased at the time of Napoleon Bonaparte by the Church. Drink more Dolcetto and don't be fooled by the name that means sweet. Characteristics of Paitin Rivoli wine

Rivoli Dolcetto d'Alba juicy and fruity wine with liquorice and light floral notes, medium bodied and relatively low in acid. Quality Piedmontese table wine; the length of the finish could be better with a fresh tomato spaghetto.
