Why I suggest Allegrini Valpolicella Classico DOC 2022
Valpolicella is characterized by a favorable climatic trend with optimal temperatures for the development of the cultivation of the Corvina and Rondinella varieties. The temperature changes at the time of veraison determined an increase in the sugar content, favoring the maintenance of the acidic heritage and facilitating the development of the aromatic profile of the varietal. The harvest, which took place in ideal atmospheric conditions, allowed the grapes to complete the maturation in a slow and progressive way. The vintage promises to be one of the best vintages, always able to stand out for its great balance and elegance.
Sommelier:
Mix of 70% Corvina and 30% Rondinella grapes, a medium intensity ruby red wine with violet reflections and a good alcohol content of 13.40% vol. The fragrance of cherry, morello cherry and slightly dried plum notes predominates; undertones of spices such as black pepper and herbs. Soft and enveloping in the mouth, with a pleasant juicy drink, good persistence.
Recommended pairings:
