Fumanelli
The Fumanelli family and the Tenuta di Squarano has its roots in the centuries-old tradition of Valpolicella Classica, one of the most renowned wine areas in Italy. Situated in an ideal position, protected by the Lessinia hills and benefiting from the mild climate of Lake Garda, this area offers optimal conditions for growing vines.
Tenuta di Squarano, surrounded by hills, cypresses and cherry trees, has been the cradle of the wine production of the Marquises Fumanelli since 1470, the year in which they began to cultivate these lands rich in history. On this hill, in fact, traces of an ancient Roman villa are still visible, with archaeological finds and inscriptions that enrich the property, including a temple dedicated to the goddess Flora.
The Fumanellis' passion for the territory and for quality is reflected in every bottle, which preserves the aromas and flavors of a thousand-year history and a wine culture of excellence.
