Why the winemaker recommends Fumanelli Octavius Amarone della Valpolicella Riserva DOCG 2017
A beautiful round Amarone in perfect balance. Nice fruit and long aftertaste with lots of raisins and power, a great wine.
Characteristics of the Amarone wine by Fumanelli
Amarone Octavius a blend of Corvina Veronese grapes 40%, Corvinone 40%, Rondinella 20%, a distinct ruby red with slightly brick reflections. Typical nose of cherries in alcohol and sweet notes of vanilla, spiced with nutmeg and cocoa. Full-bodied and warm on the palate, soft but powerful and incredibly persistent.
